„Sea water desalination is key to supplying the world’s population with potable water, but it can only be sustainable hence socially and environmentally responsible, if that desalination is based on renewable energies.”
MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT Leitmotiv
Only large cities or metropolitan clusters facing water shortages get the benefit of being supplied by large, powerful and reliable desalination plants – with capacities from 5’000 up to 120’000 m3 per day. Management of this water and its distribution to consumers obviously needs an equally reliable and powerful
management & distribution network.
These types of outputs are not feasible for dispersed settlements on the countryside. For the supply of decentralised, remote locations – even with low infrastructure or without permanent grid connection – we have developed the reliable, autonomous and self-sufficient MEH desalination systems MiniSAL™ x1.0, MidiSAL™ x5.0, MegaSAL™ x10.0 and MegaSAL™ x50.0.
All of these reliably produce high quality fresh water. Wherever salty water is available on this planet.
The energy consumption for desalination is often cost prohibitive – electricity is expensive or not available in the amounts needed.
The MAGE WATER MANAGEMENT desalination systems solve this obstacle by tremendously reducing energy needs for the desalination process, applying a very effective and energy saving heat recovery system. This patented process allows for the thermal energy of distillation to be recycled up to 10 times. The following heat sources can easily be connected to the unit to enable the desalination process:
